Η Περιφέρεια Ν. Αιγαίου προκήρυξε διεθνή διαγωνισμό για τη «Δημιουργία Τουριστικής Ταυτότητας (Destination Brand)», για τα νησιά των Κυκλάδων και της Δωδεκανήσου, με σκοπό να δημιουργηθεί μια νέα ελκυστική ταυτότητα, η οποία θα αξιοποιηθεί σε όλες τις ενέργειες τουριστικής προβολής, για την περίοδο 2011-2015. Να σημειώσουμε ότι η προκήρυξη είναι «παράδειγμα προς μίμηση», καθώς όχι μόνο χαρακτηρίζεται από πληρότητα και ευκρίνεια, αλλά συνοδεύεται και από παραδείγματα και πρακτικές άλλων χωρών. Κατά την εκτίμησή μας το ποσό των 80.000 ευρώ (πλέον ΦΠΑ) είναι μικρό για το ζητούμενο έργο και ελπίζουμε να υπάρξει η σχετική ανταπόκριση από σοβαρές και έμπειρες επιχειρήσεις του χώρου της διαφήμισης και της επικοινωνίας.
