Οι επικεφαλής των μεγάλων επιχειρήσεων στις ΗΠΑ αναθεωρούν τους στόχους της εταιρικής διακυβέρνησης

Για πρώτη φορά από το 1978, οι επικεφαλής των πολύ μεγάλων αμερικανικών επιχειρήσεων προχώρησαν σε ουσιαστική αλλαγή της διατύπωσης των προτεραιοτήτων στην εταιρική διακυβέρνηση, εγκαταλείποντας τη διατύπωση περί αποκλειστικής εξυπηρέτησης των συμφερόντων των μετόχων.

Με τη νέα “Δήλωση Σκοπού Εταιρείας (Statement on the Purpose of a Corporation)”, που έδωσε στη δημοσιότητα το “Business Roundtable”, 181 επικεφαλής επιχειρήσεων, όπως της Αpple, της Amazon, της Johnson & Johnson, της General Motors και της JPMorgan Chase, δεσμεύονται να διευθύνουν της επιχειρήσεις τους προς όφελος όλων των ενδιαφερομένων μερών – πελατών, υπαλλήλων, προμηθευτών, κοινωνιών και μετόχων.

Τα τελευταία 45 χρόνια, το “Business Roundtable” είναι το συλλογικό όργανο των επικεφαλής των πολύ μεγάλων αμερικανικών επιχειρήσεων. Οι επιχειρήσεις που διευθύνουν απασχολούν συνολικά περισσότερους από 15.000.000 εργαζομένους και έχουν ετήσια έσοδα πάνω από επτά τρισεκατομμύρια.

Statement on the Purpose of a Corporation
